讨闹派《首张同名专辑》

新加坡独立音乐再添一枚，而且这次终于来了个乐团，他们叫讨闹派。
封面文案写着“2009最大胆的新加坡乐团”，于是我做好敞开心扉的心态迎接讨闹派的音乐。
首先必须注意，这张专辑需要用较好的耳机播放，因为老黄瓜本来用ipod 听时，觉得整体很扁平，可是用家里效果较好的喇叭听（你要叫它扬声器，Speakers也可以）就发现情况好多了。
《隐形翅膀》、《再一次》是很典型的，充满希望与动力的摇滚曲风。是主流的，也是不错听的，可是听不出鲜明的特色，而且编曲不够紧凑，比较像在Pub 弹奏的感觉多过听专辑那种很紧密的Feel。
反而如“If I could dream”、“Lost”还有《隐形翅膀》Radio Acoustic版，放下摇滚身段，才真的讨好。前者有点苏打绿的味道，编曲是轻盈的但是主唱或许还要再软化唱腔才能更接近歌曲。后者则想起《纸飞机》，简单的吉他总是悦耳，没有什么人会排斥清新小品。
《克利斯丁》、《冲》其实曲子线条不错，可惜编曲编得太90年代，总觉得到了末端就会有人冲上台为克利斯丁打架火拼之类的。
专辑其实比较大的问题出在歌词。“沙滩的阿伯烤章鱼的表情真是够赞”、“热一直不停不停继续燃烧”诸如此类听起来怪怪的句子，会拉低整体的质感。而很多歌曲谈梦想，希望，热情，但写不出新想法，听起来也很理所当然，削弱原本想要传达的讯息。
我能谅解独立乐团资金的缺乏，以致制作物水准不足，但也因此更需要对作品词曲整体素质有所苛求才能弥补外在因素的不足。
建议讨闹派或许往Acoustic 乐团如台湾的929乐团方式出击，收效可能截然不同。重摇滚或许在技术更精进，制作能力提升之后再挑战。

Razzleplay album makes me think of FIR's album, especially with the
female vocalist Siling. It has been a long time FIR did not come out
with a new album, so it is really v enjoyable, especially listening to
the fast rock songs in this album... so this new album is so-called
a "replacement" to me in the period of time that FIR did not have any
new songs or albums nowadays...
Like the female vocalist voice, got attitude. The only special song in
this album is "lost", a little folk song and has English lyrists
towards the end of this "shortest" song in the album. The rest are
mostly pop rock or rock ballad songs... But the last bonus track is
also a "special" ending... "yin xing chi pang" from an original fast
rock song also can become a radio edit accoustic version... like
razzleplay's music arrangement in this album.
Overall, there is still room for improvement in Siling's vocal;
especially in singing live. However, it is an enjoyable, "high" album!
Recommended:- shou suo, ying xing chi pang (both versions), zai yi
chi, chong, if i could dream
